Part-Time Worker/Driver Position Available
Marion County Solid Waste Authority, Recycling and Litter Control seek a part-time worker/driver for their new Recycling Center. Position may escalate to full-time. Class D driver license is required. Experience operating skid steer, fork lift, tractor with mowing machine, and baling equipment preferred. Construction ability is a plus. Duties will include but not limited to operating and maintaining recycling facility and property, transporting and processing recyclables, operating Freightliner truck with hook system, monitoring recycling bins, assisting with litter control, remodeling and updating of building, assisting office personnel and other duties as needed. Fall Clean up with Republic Services will be the week of October 13th.
The following items are NOT accepted: refrigerating items containing freon (unless they are tagged saying it was removed), no hazardous materials, no oil or gas, no construction materials, and nothing over 4 feet long.
All wood and carpet should be cut down and bundled.
